Welcome to Holly JoAnne and thank you for visiting! This site began as a dream to create a focal point for my interests in fashion, beauty, health, photography, travel, and connecting with people that have similar interests.
I was born and raised in the Midwest, and currently reside in Wisconsin. My family is very important to me. I have my dad (Patrick / PJ), my mom (Marjorie), older brother (Brian), older sister (Jenny), my kitty (Sponge), and my sister’s kitty (Cubs – total auntie status!).
I graduated a semester early from high school and worked as a Nursing Assistant before I attended beauty school at CVTC. I currently keep my practitioner’s license current in the state of Wisconsin in Cosmetology with continuing education to keep up to date with the industry. I have over a decade of experience in the beauty industry, actively worked in a salon, and freelanced for years. Being a beauty professional has always been more of a procedural and scientific approach for me. I have done hair backstage for Future Productions for the Miss USA pageant system, friends’ wedding parties, etc. I do miss the creative side of working heavily in the fashion/beauty industry at times, but this site has helped me to fill that void and currently extend that creativity to other areas.
I have always been a very artistic person with a love for aesthetics and design, and have always gravitated towards fashion and beauty since I can remember. At my current corporate office position, I wasn’t receiving any creative fulfillment, so I set out to build what I’d envisioned for myself. It was scary taking that first step, but you have to have faith that something beautiful will come out of it. I hope you find this space as a source of inspiration. You have to make sure you take time in your life for the things that set your soul on fire and make you feel alive. Be authentic to you! I appreciate you following along and for all your support!
